THE STORY
Little Women
An intimate letter from Avonlea
When 13-year-old Anne Shirley arrives at Green Gables by mistake, she expects to find a new family—but Matthew and Marilla Cuthbert were expecting a boy to help on their farm. An imaginative, spirited orphan with a fiery temper and a heart full of dreams, Anne soon finds herself at the center of life in Avonlea.
Determined to make Green Gables her home, Anne throws herself into school, friendship, and countless adventures. Along the way, she forms a deep bond with the shy Diana Barry, clashes with the clever and infuriating Gilbert Blythe, and turns even the simplest moments into unforgettable adventures through the power of her imagination.
But growing up in Avonlea isn't always easy. Anne must learn to face embarrassment, rivalry, loss, and the consequences of her impulsive nature. As the years pass, the lonely girl who once longed for a place to belong begins to discover something she never thought she could have: a true home, people who love her, and a future she can shape for herself…………….
